>You stupid moron.

Moron. Gee! That's literacy for you. I guess you're much more intelligent than
some though. At least you don't resort to calling people "strokes". Moron is
much more flattering
	> Do you know what a "system" is? Do you understand the concept of
interrelating parts?

Yes. Did you hear me? YES! I do understand a system. Yes I do understand the
concept of interrelating parts.

	> Can you grasp the theory that there is a reason for a configuration?

Well, Jim did you miss something? My point exactly. Your configuration may
possibly be perfect and I am sure it is for you and the type of diving you do
but what are you trying to say? That you are the only person in the world that
knows how to configure gear for a reason? Or should that crown go to Geoff
Bentley as he claims? By the way, didn't I say I agreed with and practiced the
Hogarthian principle or did you conveniently miss this point also?

>I realize the Scuba is the sport of anecdotal evidence, where people blindly
follow stupid rules....

Again my point exactly. I am not making the point that this principle is a
stupid one. I am making the point that some people blindly follow the
principle to the letter, i) without even knowing why ii) without having good
reason iii) or when circumstances require a different solution or approach.

>.....feeling guilty or something?

Now I think I have missed your point.
