AIUI, replenishment of the gas in the semi-closed loop of the Prism system
is by constant flow through a mass-flow valve, with a diver-controlled
bypass valve. There seems no technical reason why diluent and O2 could not
be separately and automatically added to the loop, but it would negate the
simplicity (and hence reliability) that is the beauty of the Prism set-up.
