Here's the problem. IANTD is just one of many, and it means that you fill
only IANTD tanks, and not tanks marked to other standards.

I point out that the "contractual agreements" are business choices, you
were not forced to make them, and are not forced to abide by them.

I am amazed at your ethics, that you would agree to these policys when
you, "personally", disagree with them. This is a critical, life and death
issue, but then, it's not your life, is it? A diver's life is just a
diver's life, but you have your INSURANCE to think of, don't you?

You will pay the prices as well as reap the benefits of such choices.

I assure you, since you count on IANTD, not to mention insurance
providers, for guidance in a critical issue, that you will never see my
tanks, or my business.

Oh, no, it's much, much simpler than that.

There is no reason for me to invest any time, energy, or money in
changing such an outdated and lethargic institution.

Instead, since it's easy to get the fills I want without conforming to
any such foolishness, I'll simply avoid anyone simple enough to make
decisions on the basis of their insurance, or their agency.

In short, me and my dollars will continue to reward those shops and
individuals who THINK, who rely on their own expertise for their
decisions, and who make decisions on a case by case basis.

The market is a brutal place, I fight in it daily.

Haven't you wondered why your dive shop hasn't made you rich?

It's because your dive shop isn't doing as well as it could be.

Of course, I can't fathom why...
