Subject: Webbing harness on packplate
Date: Tue, 5 Aug 1997 15:08:29 -0400
I have just aquired my new OMS BC and I love it! My straps, as they came
from the factory, are, shall we say, a tad too long. I was planning on
cutting and melting the ends to a better length, but I want to be sure
that I do not cut off too much.

Does anyone know of anyway to use up some webbing so that if I ever need
more (get fetter, add rings or gear, etc), then I just undo it?

Any other thoughts on this matter would also be appreated! i.e. What is
a good length to have hanging? What are some other ways of running the
webbing? It there anything I might not have thought of?

Thanks in adv,
Josh
