No matter what your configuration is, or will be, a BC's lift should be
a little more than the weight of the gas in your tanks. This is the
maximum negative bouyancy you should ever have. Else, your are
overweighted.

What about the weight of tools, lights and such carried by the diver?  Wetsuit
compression alone could cost you 15-20 pounds of buoyancy on the bottom.  Your
reply implies that the only variable in the equation is gas consumption when
there is a lot more than that involved.  You would have a diver on double 104s
wear a 17 pound bladder, I don't think I've seen one that small.

Maybe you ought to re-think this a bit.
