Actually, every computer I've ever dived with will still give you depth and
bottom time once violated.  (Ok, so it's only three different computers,
but they were all recent [<2yrs] models.)  

It would be an even more serious legal problem if the unit stopped giving
you this information during a "violated" dive.  The worst part is listening
to the beeping ;)
