I guess there were two interpretations to what I wrote. An 80 when emptied of gas would read 0 bar gauge pressure whereas in fact there would be 1 bar (ambient) absolute pressure. The volume of gas would then be the same as the water capacity i.e. 0.38 Cu Ft. What I was indicating was that a full cylinder 80 Cu Ft at 207 bar / 3000 PSI when emptied would discharge into the atmosphere (i.e. 1 bar) a total of 80 Cu Ft of gas.
