I was just going through some old copies of LIGHT PLANE MAINTENANCE, a
publication devoted to aircraft mechanics, and came upon the following, in
an article on O-rings:

"Oxygen O-rings are generally nitrile types. An O-ring technician at Parker
told us the only thing that distinguishes oxygen O-rings from the rest is
that they're washed to remove any traces of greases or oils".
