George, I have no disagreement with your viewpoint. I have long publicly stated my feelings on the responsibilities of the leaders in our community (technical & cave diving) which is rapidly evolving. We need to stick to the facts, and realize that : "He who does not learn from history, is doomed to repeat it". Indeed, all of history proves this to be true, putting out misinformation regarding this incident robs it of it's only true value, it's potential to keep others from going down that path. While people are not about to start diving He at 130-150 (some should) there is no reason, excuse, etc. for ultra deep air excursions. Economics, is not a valid reason to compromise safety. Safe Diving, Tony M. Satterfield "It is difficult to live in the present, ridiculous to live in the future, and impossible to live in the past. Nothing is as far away as one minute ago". - Jim Bishop -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send list subscription requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
