Subject: Re: Hose routing help needed
Tony,

It's easy! Even nicer than using Poseidon firsts. Assuming you have tank
valves with the hole pointing straight forward, the regs are mounted
horizontally with the turret end facing out to each side, rotating in the
vertical plane (sagittal plane to be quite correct :-) Spin them so that
you have the two 3/8 inch holes pointing down, and plug the other two on
the upper side. This way all the LP hoses have 3/8 inch fittings.

The right hand reg has the long hose and the BC inflator hose. Use the
front hole for the BC hose and the back hole for the long hose. What
happens when you do that is that as the long hose is directed straight
down the tank, the BC hose is pointed slightly forward towards the BC.
This way there is hardly any bending necessary. That's the beauty of
having the turret.

The left hand reg has the high pressure hose, the dry suit inflator (at
least in my case) and the back up reg. The high pressure hose port points
ever so slightly forward (mostly down of course) and makes it really easy
to fit the hose over the top of the wings. The suit hose comes from the
back hole on the turret and points straight down. That leaves the back up
reg hose pointing a bit forward in an ideal position to cross over to the
right shoulder behind your back, ON TOP OF the BC hose (this leaves it
free to be lifted up to mouth level if that reg is needed).

I am very happy with this set up. Let me know if you need more detail.

Egil.
