Chrissy, I was at the meeting with yor stroke buddies where they
were making up excuses to dive with the focus being "what will they go
for?". They wanted to drill a hole and sat dive, with the first proposal
indicating that they would "tripple the WKPP's distaance" due to the use
of rebreather and sat, neither of which thes guys have any experience
with ( and the rebreather has not yet, after twelve years, done a deep
cave dive, and its death record speaks for itself). They were going to
use double rebreathers, and kluged up a convolution for tek 96. They
have since changed to another nightmare.
When that proposal got rejected, and they realizaed they have no
divers, they gave up on trying to out gun us, and started copying our
sonar system and scooters, and went in with a propposal to do what we
are already doing : map the cave.
The fact is , Chrissy, thewse guys just want to dive in Wakulla, and
they will not need reels, mappers, or rebreathers: there will be
absolutely nothing for them to do.
You have no clue what our scientific work is, and quite frankly , it
is none of your business, and none of the cave "community's" business,
and those who need to know what we are doing, already do - why do you
think we get all the permits to everything.
H E L L O !!!
Chris, it is 5 months until your stroke buddies are scheduled to dive
in Wakulla: they have no working gear, have no divers, do no diving, and
most of them have not quit smoking , drinking , or using pot. Trust me,
asshole, I will be who gets called to fish out the bodies, and I will
make a huge scene of it, and will make every detail public in a loud
way.
