In an earlier post I said this green-knobbed isolating
manifold has barrel o-rings either side of the isolator.
Sorry I was wrong. There are no o-rings either side of
the isolator. The end o-rings are captive face. Threaded
collars attach the manifold to the valves. The collars
have left and right threads.
I also forgot to mention it was a 300bar DIN manifold.
The isolator knob points in the direction of travel. If
it is struck, there is no turning moment.
Can those people who had reservations about face o-rings
comment about this setup?
