I saw a friend take a latex glove insert the probe in the wrist and crack the valve an RCH, the flow was sufficient to get a good reading and you can only pop the glove if you open valve too much. Easy, portable, easy to buy and carry in the field and the damndest thing I've seen in a while. Decidely low tech, but priced right and effective!
