I spent the weekend wreck diving in the English Channel, Hogarthian rigged with twin 10s (about 2x85cuft for you yanks :-), no (canister) torch just yet, and with the long hose just tucked in. Works a treat. Thanks to everyone for their advice on diving this way over the past months - and to those who put in the ground work on developing the Hogarthian system as used by the WKPP - it's by far the slickest, most comfortable rig I have ever dived. Special thanks to George and the WKPP for the video and their ever-constructive advice, and to Todd and Jeff for the related web sites. Two highlights from the weekend : 1. Breathing the long hose is really comfortable - as well as all the safety advantages, the hose routing removes any strain on the mouth because the hose isn't under tension as it sometimes is when breathing a short hose (depending on the length and routing of the short hose, of course). You move your head and the long hose reg moves with it, with zero resistance. Excellent ! 2. Mounting the pockets on the thighs of the suit was a wonderful idea - they hold loads of gear, and you can actually take it out, *and* put it back **easily**. Whoever invented this aspect of the rig deserves a medal - I have yet to see pockets on any conventional BC that were anywhere near as useful or easy to access. Brilliant ! These might sound like minor points, but any contribution to hassle-free and stress-free diving is a welcome bonus, and these are big plus points in my book. Thanks again !
