What's the best way to stow the long hose when you don't have a torch canister light to loop it under ? For whatever reason - my current reason is I don't have a canister torch yet, and I can live without it for a while, open-water diving. Two possibilities come to mind : 1) just push a loop of the hose through your harness waist-belt where the torch should be. 2) tie a piston clip on to the hose, add a D-ring to the waist-belt on the right hip, and clip the hose on to it. I'm leaning towards 1) as it's less convoluted and probably quicker to deploy, but option 2) is more secure - once attached it'll stay attached until you decide otherwise, but would be slower to deploy (from 5' to 7', but not much slower than option 1). I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Cheers, Kev. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send list subscription requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
