Apple was writting the conversion of Abyss for free. They were doing at their own pace. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. But we really had no say in the timing. They had fully operational code in early january. At that point it looked like we would finally be ready to go to Beta testing. A few weeks latter all hell broke loose at apple and people started loosing their jobs left and right. 6 weeks went by with no word from the perople that were working on Abyss. Finally we found out that they were no longer at apple. Several more weeks or trying to find them passed with no luck. Only last thursday did we finally get back in touch. We are now trying to arrange for the programer to work for us directly. This MAC version has been FAR more PAIN then it will ever be worth!!! But, eventually we will have the darn thing done. To much time and effort expended now to bail on the misserable thing. Christopher M Parrett President Abysmal Diving Inc.
