I am in complete agreement with you on this point, people are totally
responsible for their own actions. BUT I was not suggesting that these sort
of profiles should not be dived or in restricting you dives in any way shape
or form. All I was trying to do was to discuss some technics that could
OPTIONALLY be used to reduce the risk prifile on the dives. I thought
tech-diver was for this sort of discussion.

Considering the millions of hours that the comercial dive industry has logged
at all depths in all conditions, I belive that the number of pooch-screwings
is very-very small. These tenders are usually fully qualified (ie comercial
qualifications not a couple of hours in a sport diving class) that are
working to gain experience.(they log more time during their courses than most
people log in a life time)

Again my suggestion was simply for discussion to reduce the risk profile, If
your "own hand" is narced out of its tree, then maby the risks are less for
surface operation than for depth.

Again all I wanted was to discuss some technics after hearing about a series
of deaths that may have had a common thread in the causes. I am not telling
you how to dive I am asking for advice on how I should dive.
