Mr. O'malley, I cannot fine this testament to Mr. Nichols lack of abilities
that you speak of. I said in a post that Richard told me that he teaches
diving with the isolator valve closed, he said some people have trouble
reaching them in dry suits.
He also thought the technical program would be to difficult to instrument in
it's structured place, he was alsonot in favor of raising the depth limit up
from approx. 246 fsw, for tri-mix among other things. If you have these
remarks I made then re-post them and I will address it. In the meantime you
say that you are going to support IANTD or TDI, well according to your post
to Tom Mount that is not the case, and there are several besides this one:

If a student is only ever exposed to a 'few' instructors, AND those
instructors are all as bad as each other then the student will of course
think how wonderful and knowledgeable their instructor is at this
'dangerous cave diving', after all how will they know any different, then
they will use that warm fuzzy feeling to write to the instructors agency
praising the instructor.
I know PADI instructors in Brisbane who give their students a
filled out copy of the quality assurance questionnaire, during the course,
so that PADI only receives the 'right' information. How can any agency
justify their 'endorsements' when these above practices are allowed to
occur.
When you receive endorsements from around the world e.g. JJ, then
you have the right to feel proud and you deserve your good reputation, but
when only your own circle of instructors/friends starts slapping you on the
back and you reciprocate, it means nothing. If it does then you've been in
one to many 'circle jerks'.
