    Hi, 
    Can everyone who has used the new "soft touch" inflator comment on how
    well or poorly it works...when compared to the older more traditional
    design. I have to admit, it is rather ugly looking, and I'm curious as
    to how well it performs, holds up to abuse, etc. Thanks.

The new one was on the last set of wings that I bought, and I hate it.  It
is not easy to use with the heavy gloves that we have to wear up here in
the Great White North at this time of year.  Luckily, I still had my old
style one, and I put it on the new wings.  I e-mailed Lamar about the new
one just after I first dove with it.  He said that he would check into it,
and get back to me, but I guess he has forgotten.   My advice is to stick
with the old style if you can.  It is great.
