AUL's Back plate has these slots already cut, for two bands if you 
want, BUT it still doesn't work real well. Hard to get the plate 
centered on the tank and keep it there. I dove mine that way for 
awhile but finally ordered a single adapter from Mr. Diver. Much 
better method of hangin' it on a single.
