I use the same thing, only the wrist seals are those used for kayaking (I
assume they are the same as viking wrist seals) which cost $15
Canadian each. I use XL gloves so I can fit a couple of pairs of warm,
fuzzy gloves underneath (the kind that absorb a lot of water without
losing their insulation). I have a neoprene drysuit with neoprene wrist
seals on the outside and to allow air flow I simply leave them untucked.
The latex seals to the neoprene and my hands stay toasty, even for long
dives in 38 degree water in British Columbia, whereas last winter my
hands would become numb and stiff with just neoprene gloves. I can't
wait to go ice diving this winter!

The friend who recommended these to me (and made me some for Christmas)
has a rubber suit with latex seals and he has permanently attached his
rubber gloves to his suit. He did this by first stretching the seals open
so his hand could slide through, with a 2" piece of plastic pipe about 3"
in diameter. Then he stretched the glove around the outside of his
stretched seal and tightened it down with a couple of hose clamps and
wrapped electrical tape around them to cover the sharp edges. When he
gets a puncture he just replaces the glove. This works with neoprene
seals as well but the seals will be permanently damaged because the
neoprene is crushed.

We are both underwater photographers and need good dexterity and these
provide it. Neoprene gloves can be worn over the rubber gloves for extra
warmth and puncture protection. I have been diving with these without
anything over them for about 20 dives and I haven't got a puncture yet.
