I switch to my second and use the long hose, which works out rather nicely as you have lots of reach to get the air in bag. >2) on the 'doing it right' video and in all the related web pages, the >one-piece webbing runs straight out over the shoulders. is it bad for some >reason to cross the webbing behind the shoulders as is usually the case w/ >the multi-piece harnesses that come w/ the backplates? I can't see a problem if you can still reach your valves OK. It might be convoluted if you have to slip out of your rig to get out of a snag and then get back in. But if you have a small frame, this might be the only way. In the original "delux" harness I got with the backplate the webbing was crossed, but I find the hogarth way much more comfortable. >3) is carrying a small zippered pouch on the waist belt of the harness a >no-no? This is hard to do what with the light cannister on one side and line cutter and d-ring on the other. I think the hogarth way is to get pouches installed on the legs of your drysuit. I resolved this by just not taking as much junk down as I used to. Or you can get a canvas tool bag and hang it from a belt d-ring. >thanks in advance for the help >-glenn goettler -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
