Reinhard,

Thank you kindly for responding. If I become too much of a distraction =
to your time just let me know and I will try to find another who dives =
this unit.

The worst case scenario for me as far as temperature is concerned is =
only about 6 degrees F colder than you had tested your unit in so the =
battery capacity will only be slightly lower. I was curious though, =
when you were testing for average speed were you using a neoprene =
drysuit or a TLS suit with a little more drag?

In reference to your comment on the change in buoyancy - There are many =
factors that combine to change the volume of the scooter as the depth =
increases. O-Ring compression, Plastic Deformation of the housing due =
to hoop stress and axial stress, and a reduction due to the thermal =
coefficient of expansion as the water temp typically decreases with =
depth. Obviously, you could design a diaphragm, or flex, or mechanical =
compensator as well. I guess my only curiosity here is the effects of =
salt water v. fresh water. When you say that it is exactly neutral at =
the surface, What type of water are we talking about?? Oh yeah, this =
is a VERY nice feature!!

Also, the Videos that you mentioned, I saw "Doing it Right" at a =
friends house but was not aware that he had another. What is the name =
of it?? The doing it right video was interesting if you could look =
through some of the mistakes. George is proud (rightfully so) of "the =
team's" accomplishments and seems like he has so many things he would =
like to convey that they don't always "come out" as intended. Certainly =
not trying to be disrespectful because it is by far better than nearly =
everything out there of that nature.

About the video, it is just so hard to get the kind of info I am =
looking for from a tape or even casual conversations such as these. I =
live about 17 hours away from the guys that dive Wakulla but I need to =
get down there to look, ask, and DIVE one of these puppies.

Thanks,
			Jon Guizar
