We don't use burst disks in Europe (if some countries in fact do, somebody please correct me). And tanks aren't exploding left and right around here. If this indeed happens on occasion, the reason is a corroded tank, so the burst disk wouldn't help at all. Pure curiosity: has anyone ever had a burst disk fail underwater? Is it possible that a burst disk doesn't blow during filling, then the tank gets really cold in your trunk, then you jump in relatively warm water .... and after a minute or so ... ? michael, munich
