Get off it Jeoff. I dive with this person (Marty) on occasion. AND I
encourage him to dive, but dive the right way. However, if he feels like
shit, then he dosen't dive.

Furthermore, MR "I know everything about asthma in the US" He is CLEARED by
a DR to DIVE. AND I know a few more ASTHMATICS in the US that are cleared by
a DR to dive. So what was that you said that NO DR in the US would clear an
asthmatic to dive???? I think you are mistaken. Listen, if someone wants to
dive and are willing to accept the risk and possible consequences, then who
are you to say.."Oh, Jonny, you shuldn't do that, you might get hurt."
Christ, you might get hurt when you drive to work in the AM, but people
still do it. It is their choice, diving is no different.

The best thing for you to do is to state the potential risks and some
possible solutions. Obviously, your solution is..don't dive. Yes, that is
one (Option number one), but not the only one.
