Hello.

A friend of mine has recently been diagnosed as having Normal-
Tension Glaucoma (NTG). Understandably, he's quite worried by this, as the
long term prospects aren't too good.

What he'd like to know is:

Is there any research on the relationship (if any) between NTG and diving?
One suggestion was that NTG might be caused by reduced blood flow to the
eye, and I remember some research that showed damage to retinal circulation
in divers.

Specifically, is there any evidence that diving can cause/make worse/improve
NTG?

If it matters, my friend isn't a tek-diver type, just the standard 20-30 
dives a year recreational diver.

Any advice, pointers to articles, etc appreciated.
