Whoa! Every location has its own set of problems. no doubt many Florida wreck divers (cave divers too) would find diving the NE on the Doria etc, difficult, however many of them have done so safely and efectively. At the same time I have had several good NE wreck divers in the current we dive in down here and have found few that considered our wrecks (the deep ones) as "pussy dives". Then again we can all get challeged and go to the uk or western Oz and dive in their hevy tide changes. As I orginally stated each area has its own problems. hell, if you want to see cold water diving go to the great lakes. They consider the Doria as warm water experiences. Tom ********************************* Tom you mention western Oz as a challange- get real your boy over there ran away from Sydney as all his divers left him- he never did the dives he talked about or scheduled (too dangerous), and was famous for his "candle test" of the weather- He would put a candle out the window before a dive and if it blew out he would cancel. When I started diving I heard about his "A" team divers- a mirage if ever I saw one- only one good diver in the lot of them. troppo
