Anthony,

I believe we "were" or "are" talking the same thing.  The long hose comes
straight down from the right post 1st stage.  It is routed between the
wings and the diver (not the tank), under the light canister, up across the
chest around the neck and into the mouth. Phew!

Not real complicated, but a mouthful none the less.
