Huh? 

Three things for you to ponder:

First - you don't need a $700 BC unless you're a stroke and 
love the uselessness of the trans-pack.   From all you've written so 
far the transpack might be just what you're looking for. 
If you would listen to this list a litter more and spew bs at it a 
little less you'd learn of ways to have the best equipment and spend 
much less.

As for the $250 light - if  you can get a good AUL for that price 
buy it!  If you do any serious wreck diving you'll appreciate having 
it.

Third - if a rig is safe 10,000 feet back into a cave, you can bet it's 
even safer on a 100fsw wreck dive.
