Actually, the guy's got some point here. Three days ago, I was
diving in an abandonned canal, and while we were getting out from one
of the lock tunnels near the waterfall from the lock gates (which
conveniently prevents the canal from freezing for a good distance,
thus making effortless ice dives), I had a free-flow. As I was
gently taking my time going up (no point in sharing air in 5m of
water, and I had plenty left), the racket from the waterfall
effectively made me think that my free-flow had stopped.
