Steven,

Guess we were too busy "discussing" the pros and cons of independents
vs. manifolded doubles.

I have taken the one from DR apart.  Inside is a metalic-looking filter
device.  It looks similar to the one you see at the high pressure input
to a first stage of a regulator, just much finer.  Other than that, I
don't know what it is.  I use one and it works very nicely with my
Miniox.
