If you can't notice or stop another diver from grabbing your main source of air, what does _that_ say about your diving? I constantly monitor my air out of habit from diving independants, even when I dive manifold, which I mostly do now. I have a pressure gauge on both reg's because if I have to shut down one side or the other I want to know what I've got left. Also, I can check the guages against each other and it helps me to determine if I have a problem with either guage or gas that is not apparent. If you don't know how much air you go through then haven't been doing much diving. Mike -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
