I have the following for sale: The incredible historic Aquazepp that
was used by Paul Heinerth on the first Wakulla project in 1987.
This is the actual scooter that Paul rode on his record 4176 ft. push
into B tunnel. A record shattered by WKPP efforts.
The scooter known by the names "Enterprise" and "Klingon Kruiser" is
the large 714T model, weighs 148lbs dry but is appox. 9 lbs negative in
water. Powered by 4 - 12 volt 24 amp Gel cell batteries, is extremely
fast, has 4 speed settings, and redundant circuitry. The redundant
circuitry is controlled by a main external power switch, What it does
is switch the 4 batteries from a 24 volt (series) setting to a 12 volt
(parallel) setting. While certainly not the most current state of the
art, lacking the solid state circuitry that makes the AUL predator and
the WKPP scooters so much more efficient, It is still extremely fast
and is still a relatively long running scooter.
Sale price is $1900.00 (U.S.)or I might be willing to trade for one of
those historic Wakulla Rolex (not Casio) Watches. The price does not
include the batteries but I know a source that will sell them to me for
$50.00 (new) and I will be happy to help you get them.
While I don't anticipate anybody actually wanting to buy this monster,
perhaps I can donate it to the Smithsonian and get a good tax write
off.
