I agree a hit at anydepth is not nice however,
If you're worried about controlling all the factors on a dive you should
take option one. I hope you are as careful with your approach to road use as
you are with diving as you have a much higher chance of injury and much less
control every time you drive to work. Or is it just that divers are paronoid
about safety control?
Helium is .06cent per L here.
