Why not wire a "Clapper" into the circuit, and configure it so you 
have to tap "shave and a haircut" on the outside of the cannister to 
toggle the light on and off?

Just kidding... the switch you really need is the one your daddy has 
waiting for you in the toolshed for initiating this silliness.  ;-)
