Isn't the real question whether acetylene will continue to exist at all
in a couple thousand PSI of oxygen?  It might be that any discussion of
breathing the stuff via a backfilled O2 bottle could be irrelevant, and
that the combustion byproducts would be all we'd ever meet.  Any chemists
aboard with the answer?
