A few days back I posted a plea for help finding a 7' hose for a buddy. He has a Dacor Extreme Plus and wanted to start diving the 7' hose for all the reasons we have seen here. I wanted to thank all the people who took the time to respond and let you all know how it turned out. A local dive shop (in the Detroit area) owner e-mailed me to say that he carries the hose in question and has one in stock. At first I thought maybe he was thinking of the other Dacor regulators that use a standard hose, but after talking to him on the phone it turned out he was correct. Trident makes a 7' hose for the Dacor Extreme Plus. It is not in their catalog, but if the dealer asks for it, it is available. It is not a Dacor brand, but has the correct fittings on it and works fine. We bought one and will be using it this week for cave training. This particular dealer sells it for $35, so it is not much more than a "standard" 7' hose. Hope this helps. If anyone needs the name of the dealer I spoke with or the phone number, e-mail me.
