It is not advisable to take a large volume Ikelite housing past
40m as one more than one occassion I have seen the case deform
and the focusing, and other knobs displace making the operation
of the camera virtually impossible.

P.S thanks for an answer about the nikonos back plane, I now know 
how this has occured to me, on several occasions, It did baffle
me to why the deep negs only get scored.


Silly Me!!!!


Question has anybody ever tried to put a positive pressure inside
an Ikelite housing, say 1 Atm , am contimplating this at present
on an old housing, to try and overcome the above difficulties.
However don't hold out much hope!!
