To David Pearson David, After yr E-mail I have send out a general request about what a Hogarthian rig is and what is meant by a short (or long) hose Maybe you can explain it directly to me. Furthermore reading yr mail again I had an additional question. I don't understand yr problem with yr tank boots. The main purpose of tank boots seems to be enabling your set to stand up and to avoid scratches. From that point of view the whole question of how it will enhance the safety of your dive seems meaningless. And consequently so is your solution to threw them out and replace it with duct tape. But maybe I am missing something here. Considering you made the choice to replace the boots with something to avoid scratches then think what a shrink hose can do for you. In electrical installation companies that work with high voltage underground cables the connections are always finished with a thick, strong, wide and around two meters long shrink hose. Putting this around your tank on the right spot makes it indestructible. To the rest of the World High Folks ! I have just finished a NITROX course and I m probably one of the very few in Holland (that is in EUROPE) that have. Therefore I am interested in more specific info on NITROX, TRIMIX and rebreathers and additional courses in these fields. Please share what you have. Rob Rob.de_Groot@gi*.in*.co*
