According to Nikon, the Nik V body is rated to 50 metres. Mine's been that far with no trouble, but (as yet) no further - UK conditions normally don't justify carrying a camera deeper than about 30-35m, due to lack of light and narcosis - in fact, following from a recent thread, I'll confess that I notice narcosis more when I'm carrying a camera, because I have to think straight enough to play with exposures, strobe angles/settings etc rather than just have a cruise round a wreck- I think the correct terminology is 'task loading'. Has anybody taken a Nikonos much deeper than 50m ? I'd be interested to know any special preparation required, plus any info on housings that have boldly gone... Keith hadlandk@lg*.lo*.co*
