George,

I have my AUL backplate rigged with a single piece harness, as your 
sketch shows.  After using it for a dozen or so times, the webbing is 
just starting to fray a bit where it goes through the plate.  The slots 
in the annodized aluminum is somewhat sharp.  Do you have any 
suggestions?  (can't remember if you've discussed this before, sorry if 
I'm having a brain fart)

Certainly I will replace it before it weakens, but do you do anything 
special to keep it from fraying at those points?
