George Just for the rest of the world we will keep the material by those of us you refer to as strokes, along with JJ's. Everyone cannot be as perfect as you, so for us we will share other points of view. Even JJ does it slightly different than you, same configuration just some minor alternations on it. We think covering a few other types of diving situtations and config is benefisical to overall diver education. This will allow divers to make informed decisions on config. By the way there is not one single incident of anyone badmouthing anyone on this tape. We look forward to your comments and you will be sent the first copy we have in stock. The presenters are : Tom Mount gives an overview of config theory, then presents two methods of congig, both of which most likely in Bill Mains definition would qualify as hogarth, but most likely will not in georges definition Billy Deans presents an ideal config for offshore diving, this system includes emergency location equipment and other components that are additive to open sea safety Larry Green shows how to set up stage cylinders and a streamlined backplate. Lamar Hires guides the viewer through the intrigiencies of setting up a side mount configuration. JJ demonstrates the hogarth cofig as practiced by and endorsed by the WKPP. Yes it does feature buttmounted lights, waist mounted lights and backplate mounted lights, this alone should be worth a months net time in discussions It also features some common configs that we recommend not be used and the reasons are spelled out with valid points The tape can be purchased from IANTD facilities internationally in us version and pal Tom Mount You wrote: > > > Tom, the changes I would recommend would be to cut out the strokes, leaving >just JJ - don't kid yourself - the others know zip aoubt gear or rigging, and I >wil be glad to point out why in detail. - G > >On Thu, 31 Oct 1996, iantdhq@ix*.ne*.co* (IANTD ) wrote: >>George >>I do not know what list of people you are asking about. >>I will send a copy of The IANTD video in about two weeks we are having >>them made up next week, we did some changes as the tape was a little to >>long. >> >>Tom >> >> > >George M.
