David, I sent your post to MOunt when you sent it to me - it is you who are not a "stand up guy". You are a liar, and are now not willing to stand up to what yo said. Makes no difference to me - I made my point, and that is if Mount is going to persist in recommending crap gear to people, he is going to have to suffer the consequences when they find out the truth, like when they find out they have nothing useful to dive with. Maybe this will save somebody else some money, and who knows, maybe Mount will wise up. I sent this to Tom PRIVATELY, and told him privately that he needs to stop the bullshit - he knows damn well what the pros use, yet he is so insistant on being a nice guy to a bunch of idiot goobers who could care less about him, that he inadvertanly screws everyone over in the process. We have divers on our team trained by Tom - ask them how much money they have spent getting rid of garbage and rebuying the right stuff. Start with Bill Mee and John Rose. Rose has a PhD, and Mee is a biomediccal engineer - you ask those two guys about the dogshit crap that Mount hung them with, and how much money it cost them so far to get it right, by their own realization. Rose was a little luckier - he found us first. Bill already had a comlete set of goofery before he met us. Don't get me wrong , David - I like Mount and Mount is a very attentive dive buddy and a very safe instructor - I have been around him a long time. He just has a penchant to cut slack to people that I wouldn't spit on, like the scumbags that make some of this shitty gear. He knows as well as I do what the best light is, the best scooter, the best regs, the best rig, and the best way of doing things - he is just too concerned with accomodating strokes - I see no need to, and will not, including you and your bullshit. If you don't like what you wrote to me, then keep you sqaure light and other siliness, rather than trying to sell it on here so you can get real dive gear. You have wasted a considrable amount of my time, so I hope that somebody out there can benefit, but I will ask you not to bother me any more. I don't want to know you. George M.
