Hey, I never said the typical customer wasn't a stroke. However, a lot of marketing consists of various ways of finding out what customers out there actually want. Selling a bad product that customers don't want is sometimes do-able, but it's an uphill battle. Marketroids are usually lazy enough to want to at least start the battle with a good product, and/or one that people want. Selling stroke gear to strokes may just be amoral and not actively evil. It's not a great thing, but a fool and his money are soon parted. So long as you and I select gear with a sharp eye for real quality we're okay, and there is a niche market for the kind of gear George would take into Wakulla; you've just got to find it.
