Mike and Rod, I dunno about you guys, but MY cannister does NOT have an O ring. The center section has three O rings. One inside, which seals against the outside of the cannister, one around the O2 sensor pod, which seals against the inside circle of the cannister, and one on the outside of the center section, which seals against the center section clear cover. When I remove the nut from the cannister, remove the top, look inside the rim, and on the outside lip of the cannister, there is no O ring, and no groove for one. John's unit doesn't have one either, from my recollection of it. Either we've got mutant cannisters, or someone owes us a couple O rings... Mike, are you sure you aren't calling the purple O ring in the "center section" an O ring in the lip of your "cannister"? Kevin HeyyDude
