we sloved that problem by going to ace hardware and buying their used
paint mixer.  it's on of those kind that shake the hell out of the can.
just put the canister in it and flip the switch...

seriously tho.  the problem with the drager canister was that the oval
lid was prone to distort at the edges if not seated correctly and if
tightened too much.  that was only one of many potential leak areas tho.
drager told us they would "correct" the problem.


on the brighter side, you can dive the unit just fine with a cup or
two of water in it..  not that i'm recommending that (except for a few
out there that needs a good mouth washing out), just that it's no big
deal, for real.
