 Erika, quads sounds like convoluted strokery to me, and extremely dangerous.
If 
you are teaching diving, I would suggest you learn some yourself and not expose 
newcomers to bullshit like this. The problem with IANTD is that they rubber 
stamp every personal preference piece of bogus stupidity that they see.

 The other problem with these agencies is that you could draw and instructor 
like Jablonski, or some stroke who recomends transpacks, quads, butt lights, 
etc. I have tried to work with Mount and straighten him out - I even had him 
over to my house to show him a proper setup, and made a harness for him. I took 
him diving a few times and tried to straighten him out - he is an excellent 
diver, but his penchant for putting up with other people's bulshit is his 
achilles heel - I would tell them to take out the cotton. Instead, he borrwos 
some from them and puts it in his own ears, and what we end up with is what we 
see here: somebody claiming to represent IANTD Canada posting stupidity so 
horrifying that it looks like somebody playing a joke.
