Patrik,

I'm sorry. Probably one of the reasons why you've been waiting for
Decom 6.6 is because of me. I keep finding annoying little bugs in
the software and keep reporting them to Ronnie just as he's getting
ready to release it. I know that at least once I've forced the
release deadline back.

I'm quite sure that as soon as 6.6 is released you will receive your
copy. And as a beta tester for the new version I can promise you that
it does everything promised and then some.

As for making money and then throwing you to the wolves, I'm pretty
sure not much money is being made off of Decom. If you figure the
cost of the product is $70, quite a few copies have to be sold to pay
for ads in the magazines, booths at trade shows, etc. I don't think
Abdur and Ronnie are trying to get rich off of decom, and I don't
think they write it as their only source of income. But rather, they
provide it to the technical diving (there's that ugly word again)
community as a service.

If they were trying to take advantage of you they would charge you
$300.

Ken
