 This is exactly what I did - traded for two timers. The dive shop laughed at 
me. You are exactly right on the shape of the deco in a padded Bulhmann model - 
does not work - ou are bent and trying to treat yourself all the way up, so 
without Oxygen for the long stops, you get no real benefit. 

 The correct way is the way you stated.
