Dear colleagues,
Many-many thanks to those of You who have sent me stories about incidents
underwater. They will be included into the book. Thus, I may thank You
on behalf of all Russian recreational divers and instructors.
For those who did not read my poster some time ago, I repeat what's
the matter.
I am writing a FIRST diving manual for Russian recreational divers (in
Russian). All of You colleagues hearing me, are welcome to help me
with this book. There will be a chapter of "thrilling" stories - di-
ving incidents ended with one of those illnesses we instructors talk
about: DSC, gas embolism, N-narcosis etc. While teaching all this in
my school, I always realise that novices do ot take it seriously -
they rather think of that as of a bloody theory happening to others,
but not to them. Real incidents have much more influence on their at-
titude. Anyone willing to send a story of his own experience or of the
